SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN
April 3rd, 2006

Brian will be giving a lecture on the practice of Architectural Photography to the Photography and Architecture students at Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, Georgia. The lecture will focus on how Brian defines the architecture in his photographs by using natural light, a large format camera and a small focal window that illuminates the simplicity and order of a space. He will also be discussing the ins and outs of publication including going to press recently with his own book At Home in Maine. In addition, Brian will talk about tools of self-promotion such as his website and how he incorporates it into his daily workflow.

THIRD LARGE FORMAT CAMERA CONFERENCE
May 21, 2005, 3:00–4:30 p.m.
Marriott Hotel, Springfield, Massachusetts.

Brian will be presenting, with photographer Kirk Gittings, a seminar on the photography of architecture for publication. The full conference runs May 20–22, 2005, at the Marriott Hotel, Springfield, Ma. Brian and Kirk's presentation is on Saturday the 21st from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
